Ultra compact, lightweight bodyThe Seatool SR1/UX1 underwater housing for the Sony HDV Handycam HDR-SR1/UX1 is machined from pure, solid blocks of aluminum and polycarbonate. The end result of this meticulous attention to detail is one of the smallest, lightest underwater video housings every produced.
This housing features rugged aluminum construction yet only weighs less than 2kg. Small and light enough to hand carry on aircraft, it's the perfect tool for the travelling diver faced with increasingly strict airline weight restrictions.
Because the housing body conforms so closely to the camera, the housing attains nearly neutral buoyancy (slightly negative) for effortless underwaterhandling handling.

Wet-mount Conversion Lenses
The popular INON 67mm Mount lenses can be mounted to the housing for even more versatility. Choose from underwater mountable 160° dome, 100° wide angle or close-up lenses, to match any imaging situation.
Flip-type internal color filter
The housing includes an internal color correcting orange filter. The filter is installed inside the housing, in front of camera lens where it cannot be scratched. Flip a single lever to move the filter over or away from lens.
Accessory shoe
The SR1/UX1 housing features a multi-purpose accessory shoe (coldshoe) on top of the housing. Add an optional FIX Rotary Hot Shoe Base, and a FIX Light, for an easy to handle, compact lighting system.
External strobe fiber optic connector
With it's 4 megapixel CMOS sensor, the SR1/UX1 takes beautiful still images as well as stunning HD video. To reproduce the subject's natural colors, it is possible to trigger and external strobe from the camera's internal strobe by a fiber optic cable attached to the housing's fiber optic connector. The SR1/UX1 offers high resolution and ultra compact size in a single package for both video and still imaging.
Recording indicator / Leak sensor lamp
The recording indicator and leak sensor lamp are easily visible on remote control panel, protecting against unintentional recording or informing you immediately of water leakage.
