For that extra peace of mind, Gates water alarm offers an optional moisture detector for nearly all housings. In the rare event that water enters your housing, the Gates moisture detector sets off a shrill warning heard underwater, as well as providing a visible indication of a problem via an LED which can be placed in your housing's window. This audio/visual alarm gives you a chance to catch a leak.
