Fathom Imaging ‘Signature’ High Performance 110° FOV Port
The SWP25 is one of world’s finest underwater optics, and only available only from Gates . It is the result of a partnership with Fathom Imaging to bring distortionfree, high resolution and high performance imaging to Gates PC/MC and TRV series housings. This port is backward compatible with many out-of-production Gates housings so current users can upgrade to the SWP25, an underwater optic par excellence.
High Performance – means the SWP25 grants both 110° wide angle and full zoom-through capability. Never before could big creatures be captured at 110° field of view, then zoom to maximum telephoto and fill the frame with a mere 1.5 inch subject – and everything in between. Further, the SWP25 can be used in both air and water, as well as “split” air/water images.
High Resolution Images – that are sharp and clear from edge to edge can only be achieved with a Fathom port and Gates housing. The best camera in the world can’t compensate for poor optics, so get the maximum resolution underwater with the WP25.
Fathom Imaging “Signature” – The Super Wide Angle Port is the result of Fathom Imaging expertise, designers of high accuracy optics for applications including precision laser, super high resolution digital imaging, and HDTV underwater video. The Fathom Signature guarantees high resolution optics free of distortion, flare, vignetting and black spot reflections. Fathom ports are constructed entirely of BK-7 optical glass elements and coated with a proprietary High Efficiency Broad Band Anti-Reflective (HEBBAR) coating for maximum light transmission. All Fathom ports are then nitrogen purged/vacuum sealed in a dust-free environment, ensuring no foreign matter or condensation to spoil your image.
