Private Class 1-2 students

Put all your new skills as an underwater photographer together with either a partial day or a full day guided photo tour in the ocean and experience its curious and interesting marine life through your underwater camera.

These ocean dives are either, half-day (2 dives) or all-day (3-dives) private guided photo tours. They feature your choice of either macro or wide angle and are designed to improve your skills quickly and easily. You will be capturing great images with your underwater digital SLR camera system in no time. Easy and fun, all dives are done offshore at remote locations via dive boat and are personally guided by the Instructor. Possible destinations include the kelp forests and reefs of Catalina or San Clemente Island, the Channel Islands, the oil rigs Eureka, Ellie and Ellen or Wreck alley off of San Diego.

Tanks, air fills, weights, food and beverages are included.
Boat charter fee is additional.

Learn how to create incredible cover shots, reef and kelp forest scenics, wreck images and dazzling close-focus wide angle images with a full-frame fisheye lens.

This hands-on interactive 4-hour private underwater photography class begins in the classroom and finishes with optional ocean dives. Topics covered include underwater super wide-fisheye shooting theory, focus control, exposure control, composition, review and adjustment. The ocean dives will develop the skills and techniques necessary to create properly exposed, focused and composed super wide-angle underwater photographs with an underwater digital SLR system.

This hands-on interactive 4-hour private underwater photography class begins in the classroom and finishes in the pool. The wide-angle environment, safe diving skills for the wide-angle shooter, selection, setup,use and maintenance of wide-angle photo equipment, how to make wide-angle exposures, wide-angle focus and composition, skills and techniques for wide-angle underwater photography.

This hands-on interactive 4-hour private underwater photography class begins in the classroom and has the option to finish in the pool. Topics covered include; the macro photographers environment and macro photography diving skills, underwater photo equipment for macro shooting, making macro exposures, focus and composition for macro subjects and the skills and techniques used to take great macro shots. The student has the option to finish off the last hour of class with an optional pool session if they have not been in the water with their system before.
